The year has absolutely flown by for us at D.J. Quinn’s! Thanks to all who celebrated our first birthday with us back in June, we’re looking forward to welcoming Christmas and the New Year. Read on to find out what we have in store…

Sadly, Ireland or England didn’t win the Rugby World Cup this year, but we had plenty of craic watching the games live here in the pub. Thank you to all who came down bright and early to watch all the matches live from Japan, including the final where South Africa faced off against England!

 

Due to incredible popular demand we’re bringing back the Coach Trip to the Cheltenham Races on Saturday, November 16th. The last trip saw a full coach head to the races for a full day of thrills and excitement. Tickets for the coach to the Cheltenham Races are £20 per person, and can be purchased behind the bar. There aren’t many spaces left, so be quick!

As well as all the racing action, guests can expect live music, a shopping village, bars, restaurants and more. Tickets to the races themselves are sold separately, so be sure to get yours online too.

We asked you what you wanted to see in our pub, and the feedback was great. Many of you asked for more entertainment, which is why we’re pleased to bring you the D.J. Quinn’s pub quiz! After a successful launch on October 24th we’re bringing the quiz back on Thursday, November 21st, and then every fortnight after. It’s only £2 per person to play, and the winning team can bag a £50 bar tab as well as glory! This quiz uses the Speedquizzing app, so all you need is a smartphone to join (as well as a great team name!)

As the nights grow colder we’re getting into the festive spirit, and there’s fun for all the family at D.J. Quinn’s! You can expect our lovely pub to be festively transformed from December 1st. We’re also bringing back our 10 days of Christmas, filling the pub with as much live music as possible every day. Don’t forget you can hire our function room for your festive party! We have a large function room for hire that can fit up to 150 guests, the perfect size to bring all of the family together. The space includes its own private bar, fully stocked with any tipple that takes your fancy. There’s a fully kitted stage for DJs or performers (also where we host our fortnightly open mic night) plus access to our beer garden. There’s even catering options available for your very own festive feast. Hiring the venue costs £150 deposit, and if the bar take is over £1000 the deposit is refunded back to you.
